BLESSINGS-BLESSINGS-BLESSINGS
Blessings are what the DBC Student Chior brought to East Tennessee last week. We thought last year was great but this year's testimony of the love and grace of our Lord and Savior was tremendously powerful. As we mingled with the people, neither of us heard any criticism or negative comment concerning the conduct of this group of young men and women. As our pastor would say, THEY DONE THE CHURCH PROUD.
One person, who frequently works with young groups, made the remark that he had never worked with a group of young people who were better behaved. The combination of singing, skit, and personal testimony left no doubt who is number one in the lives of these young people. They worked physically, helping people do things that they couldn't do for themselves, such as painting, clearing brush, removing trash and on and on and on, getting hot and dirty all the while showing Christ's love for others thru themselves. They worked at Mountain Vision storehouse folding clothes, patching holes in the walls, and painting until it literally rained them out.
THANK YOU GRACE FELLOWSHIP CHURCH / COMMUNITY OUTREACH, FOR YOUR LEADERSHIP AND ARRANGEMENT OF THE PERFORMANCE AND WORKING SCHEDULE AND FINANCIAL HELP. Through this effort we have demonstrated Christ's love by developing a relationship with youth from other parts of the United States and bringing them togather to make a differerance in the lives of a few people in Kingsport.
